Happy Spring Equinox! Today is an amazing day to manifest, and what better way than to work on your vision board! My favorite method of creating a vision board is scrapbook style, and here’s why:

  • You can create various pages representing different themes, time frames, and smaller vs. larger visions of your life

  • You can create and update pages as frequently as you would like

  • You can easily interchange pages if you have already accomplished them, changed your vision, or keep those completed pages and reflect on how far you have come

  • It is easily trasportable and a great coffee table piece to keep open on the pages you are currently manifesting

If you have never created a vision board before, here are a some tips to get started (follow your own intuition above anyone else’s advice):

  • Choose images that represent what you are actually striving for, rather than just a pretty aesthetic (there is a difference between a vision board and a mood board)

  • Write down your goals/visions first (get specific), then finding those specific pictures will be so much easier (these can be separated into different themes/categories and made into separate scrapbook pages)

  • Keep POV of the picture in mind - you, the subject, should be experiencing it rather than looking at it

  • Choose words, phrases, and affirmations that are in the present tense of your vision

  • Keep it somewhere very visible whether it is hung up on your wall or on your desk; take a picture of it as well and keep it as your phone background

  • Include short-term and long-term visions to help you visualize and meet the mindset of achieving the “hard work” steps you are going to take to get there

Need help finding inspiration for words and pictures?

  • Create a Pinterest board for photo inspiration - these can be easily printed out (try to pick pictures of people that look like you if possible)

  • If you prefer to layout your pictures digitally rather than cutting out pictures individually, I recommend using Canva

  • Magazines can be used for pictures and words

  • Words can include affirmations, themes, and quotes (try to pick ones in present tense of your vision)

    • For 2024, I created an Etsy product with 40 affirmations and themes available for purchase here

Manifesting a step further:

  • Visualize yourself achieving/living in the present moment of these visions in a meditative state

  • Get clear on what actions you need to take to achieve these visions - manifesting goes hand in hand with the effort put in to get there

  • Don’t just see it to believe it, but also feel it - in your body, mindset, visualizations, and thoughts

  • Repeat daily affirmations aligned to your visions (check out my affirmation series here if you need help getting started)

  • Dig deeper on any physical or mental resistance to meeting the vibration of these visions and/or affirmations
