The Best Hidden Smoothie and Juice Spot in Los Angeles
No gatekeeping here!
Smoothie and juice culture is core to LA, and I normally stick to my usual ‘Radiance’ at Kreation and ‘Matchacado’ at Erewhon. This past weekend I was feeling adventurous, and landed upon The Art of Juice and Water in Beverly Hills. It is woman-owned, has a whopping 5 stars on Yelp, and upon looking at their menu — their prices are extremely reasonable in comparison to the usual $20 LA smoothie. I had to go check it out for myself and see what these reviews were raving about!
They have a great selection of juices, smoothies, acai bowls, and caffeinated drinks on their menu. I ordered ‘The Rose Garden’ with the suggested Aloe Vera boost added, and an iced matcha latte with almond milk. They generously have samples available to try while you are waiting, and I was immediately obsessed with their ‘Green Ecstacy’ sampler — I am definitely going to be back to try that one, as well as a few others!
The ambiance inside of the shop makes it a full experience, as there are ritual and wellness products displayed along the mossy walls available for purchase — along with some ‘A of J’ branded products. This is a great one-stop-shop for gifting your health and wellness loved one!
When my order was called out, I was stunned with the exceptional aesthetic and garnishes on the smoothie. I have never gone to a smoothie shop with this level of attention to detail and thoughtfulness to their menu items! The smoothie itself was a nice and thick consistency, balanced taste profile, and very delicious. My iced matcha latte was also a pleasant surprise, as I would not expect quality tasting matcha from a non-specialty shop. I was proven wrong!
There is seating both inside and outside, which makes it a perfect spot to catch up with a friend or people watch. Also, I do not know who was in charge of the playlist that day but I was jamming out to Beyoncé’s ‘MY HOUSE’ — 100/10 vibes all around!
I am so happy to have discovered this ‘hidden’ spot — though I hope this blog promotes it to be not so hidden anymore! You can check out their website here, along with their Instagram @artofjuiceandwater. As a food delivery queen, I am also ecstatic that they are available on Postmates, UberEats, and Doordash!
If you plan on going in person, it is easily accessible on the outskirts of Golden Triangle, and there is a parking garage around the corner on Dayton Way with one hour of free parking. Cheers to health and wellness in 2024!
