The Beverly Hills Hotel: Bachelorette Birthday Edition

Virgo season is approaching!

With my birthday month approaching, I thought it was about time that I commemorate the birthday party I threw last year at the one and only Beverly Hills Hotel. Unintentionally, it ended up being themed like a bachelorette party with everything pink, matching robes and slippers, goodie baskets, and champagne galore!

Upon checking into the hotel, the lobby was absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, early check-in was not guaranteed and we did need to wait a little bit for the room to be ready, but it did not disappoint! It was a little bit of a walk, but soon arrived to our very own pink bungalow fit for a princess. The room was huge, with luxurious queen-sized beds, a desk, walk-in closet, and bathroom fit for an assembly line of ex-sorority girls getting ready. It even fit an extra rollaway bed to complete the Blair Waldorf sleepover-style room. The hotel left a personalized birthday card, along with two Beverly Hills Hotel baseball caps which to this day I wear on a weekly basis!

My sister, her boyfriend, and I set-up the room with the ingredients for a perfect weekend: goodie baskets, pink and confetti balloons (not only around the room but also in the bathtub), bottles on bottles of Ruinart and Veuve champagne, cake and snacks, and hand held fans since LA decided to bring the heat that weekend. I had personalized the baskets with everyone’s names, and included a Morgan Lane silk robe, personalized slippers, baby Ruinart rose champagne, personalized pink tumblers with everyone’s names and zodiac signs, and fun pink sunglasses. We greeted each of my lovely friends with room service chicken tenders and fries, champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries (the true key to anyone’s heart)! My Virgo was truly Virgo-ing with the details, I know.

My cake accidentally got smushed in the car ride, which was ironic with the ‘Quarter Life Crisis’.

We made our way to the pool in our matching robes armed with our handheld fans, ready for a poolside cocktail. For each room, you are able to reserve four pool chairs in total so we made it work and shared. Unintentionally again, I ended up ordering a birthday girl pink cocktail while everyone else got a white one (we are that much in sync!). I could definitely get used to hanging by this pool in particular all day everyday, and it was the perfect afternoon activity before going back to the room to get ready for dinner.

After doing a fun balloon bathtub photoshoot, we all got ready to go out on the town. First stop: Wally’s! The hotel conveniently offers complimentary cars within a few mile radius. If you are staying at the hotel, there are several amazing restaurants around Rodeo Drive but Wally’s is my favorite spot to frequent. They have an extensive wine list, amazing cocktails, and baked brie that will be in your dreams for weeks to come. We stopped by The Hideaway for cocktails after, then headed back to the hotel for a late night pajama dance party and sleepover. The hotel is also dog-friendly, so one of my friends went to get her precious pup to join in on the fun!

For breakfast, I ordered room service for an assortment of lox and bagels, and set-up a makeshift champagne bar. I was very pleased with the quality of all of the room services dishes, as that is hard to find even at a 5-star hotel! Then it was time to get ready for lunch at The Polo Lounge! We walked around the beautiful grounds on our way, and stopped in some of the hotel shops to check out the curation of items and hotel-branded goodies.

We were seated in a booth on the patio for lunch, and witnessed none other than Lisa Vanderpump sitting smack dab in the middle of the patio. Our game of telephone whispers may have been too loud and she ended up moving to a corner table, but from what I could see she looked absolutely stunning and pictures simply do not do her justice. I started off 26 with a fresh gin cocktail, and ordered their famous McCarthy salad which was divine. They brought out a gorgeous birthday cake slice, which was the cherry on top to a perfect weekend! I definitely recommend it as an amazing lunch spot!

All in all, staying at The Beverly Hills Hotel was an absolute dream. I was worried at first about the service being snooty due to its celebrity clientele, but all of those worries immediately disappeared as I engaged with hotel staff members. They were all extremely kind, genuine, and their attention to detail made for a stay I will absolutely never forget! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious stay in Los Angeles, fun staycation, birthday sleepover, bachelorette, or date night getaway. It stays in my ranking of top 3 hotels to date!
