Wine Review: 2021 Pessimist by DAOU, Red Blend
Paso Robles, CA
We all love the DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon, but I have recently become a great fan of the Pessimist by DAOU. It is a gorgeous deep ruby and purple color. Its nose is beautiful with flavorful black berries, black pepper, cedar, leather, meat, and a hint of eucalyptus. It is high in alcohol and acid with medium/medium- tannins and a silky, long finish. You can’t beat the price, and it has been a favorite during this LA winter!
“A Pessimist is never disappointed.”
