Wine Review: 2020 Trinitas Chardonnay

Carneros, Napa Valley

This chardonnay has a lovely lemon-gold color, with notes of sweet spice, apple, lemon, and jasmine with a long oily finish. It has a pretty sharp acidity for those who like a sharp, crisp chardonnay but not particularly the taste profile I prefer. I probably will not purchase again for frequent tasting, but would enjoy a glass of this on a sunny day. Despite not being my own preference, it is very good quality.

91 Points: Cooked apples, lemon curd, praline and salted butter on the nose. Some jasmine and vanilla, too. Full-bodied with fresh acidity and a buttery, caressing palate. Fresh finish. Delicious now.
