Last Galentine's Day I made the most amazing strawberries and cream martini, straight from my Pinterest board. The best part? The chocolate rim covered in edible silver pearls—so gorgeous (you can experiment with sprinkles or cookie crumbs too)! The heart-shaped strawberry on top is the perfect final touch, and it is sure to impress your Galentines (or just yourself, if you're enjoying a solo Valentine's Day cocktail like me!). Let's get to the good stuff—the recipe!

Per usual, we are using The Nicole Method for ingredient measurements. If you are new to my cocktail style, I prefer percentages and proportions over exact measurements. As an intuitive mixologist, I tend to eyeball things, which allows for easy customization. This way, you can tailor each cocktail to individual preferences—strong or mild, sweet or dry, emphasizing certain flavors, and so on. It's simply a superior approach!

Ingredients:

*You can also stick to just using the Bailey’s and Vodka, but the strawberry milk gives a more saturated pink tone and balances out the booziness!

Tools:

  • Cocktail shaker (my signature one linked here)

  • Ice

  • Martini glass (I always use my Riedel ones!)

  • Cocktail pick (bamboo or metal work great!)

  • Knife and/or spoon (for cutting the strawberry into a heart and spreading the melted chocolate on the glass rim)

  • Tweezers (optional for pearl placing precision; the pearls linked above include a pair)

  • Microwave

  • Strainer (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Follow the instructions on the back of your chocolate melts bag to melt the chocolate (allocate one large spoonful per martini)

  2. Take your spoon or knife to rim your martini glass with the melted chocolate (I normally recommend only doing 1/2 to 3/4; a full rim tends to look tacky and becomes hard to sip)

  3. Work quickly to place the silver pearls or sprinkles onto the melted chocolate (doing this over the sink may help with the mess)

  4. Immediately place the glass in the fridge

  5. Fill your cocktail shaker about halfway with ice

  6. Add equal parts (1/3 each) of vodka, Bailey’s Strawberries & Cream, and Strawberry Milk

  7. Take the glass out of the fridge, and pour it in! (You can use a strainer to filter out tiny ice chips)

  8. Cut 1 strawberry in half and slice from the sides to create a heart shape

  9. Put your strawberry on a cocktail pick and place it inside of the drink

  10. Cheers Galentines!
