Wine Review: 2017 Domaine Josmeyer Pinot Gris `Un Certain Regard`
Alsace AOC, France
This wine has a medium gold color, and medium+ aromatic intensity. The aromas are very ripe, with primary notes of apricot, peaches, pineapple, and lemon curd, and tertiary notes of caramel, honey, and walnuts. It is dry with medium acid, medium alcohol, medium+ body, and medium intensity.
Its flavor notes include lemon curd, ripe apricot, wet stone, honey, and walnuts. It has a nutty and mineral medium finish. This wine is classified as good quality. Drink now, and there is no potential for further aging.
